About the event
A special preview screening of While We Are Here, a documentary by filmmaker Reveca Torres. Torres is a co-founder of the Spinal Cord Injury Artists Residency (SCAR) Fellowship, developed in partnership with the Santa Fe Art Institute (SFAI).
Her film While We Are Here, explores disability, art and community through her experience and the experiences of other disabled artists.
After the screening, please join SFAI Artists Relations Director Jessica Gaynelle Moss for a moderated discussion with Torres and the five other artists in the inaugural SCAR cohort: Baso Fibonacci, Wes Holloway, Minna Hong, David McCauley and Genevieve Ramos.
